The nation and the world praying for President Trump and the First Lady
According to the New York Times:
President Trump is showing mild symptoms of Covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, according to Mark Meadows, the White House chief of staff, on Friday.
The president, who said early Friday morning that he had tested positive for the virus, has had what one person familiar with the situation described as coldlike symptoms. At a fund-raiser he attended at his golf club at Bedminster, N.J., on Thursday, where one attendee said the president came in contact with about 100 people, he seemed lethargic.
On late Friday morning, the first lady Melania Trump said on Twitter that “I have mild symptoms but overall feeling good.”
“I am looking forward to a speedy recovery,” she said in the tweet.
A White House official said that as of Thursday night, the president’s treatment plan was still being discussed. So was a possible national address or a videotaped statement from the president to demonstrate that he was functioning and that the government is uninterrupted.

Multiple viewers are speaking out against presidential debate moderator Chris Wallace and are slamming the host for coming off as biased against President Trump.
The Fox News host received heavy criticism for the way he moderated the first presidential debate Tuesday night with viewers accusing Wallace of failing to control the discussion between the two candidates.
All in All it was quite clear that President Trump was debating BOTH Wallace and Biden and that Biden was given softer questions and excuses for non answer – as one twitter/er put it
We did not elect Donald Trump to be a polite and passive debater. We elected a bulldog for the people who is not polite and presidential, but rather rough around the edges and results driven. I have more and more respect for The Donald every day for putting the lying media in their place and being a straight shooter. Frankly, I don’t give a rats ass about the lying media or the other deep state operatives like lying Joe Biden. We elected The Donald to drain the swamp which is comprised of both and to counter the communist threat to our beloved country.
A massive crowd of approximately 30,000 gathered outside the American Airlines Center to watch the speech on a large screen, as the president launched into an extended critique of 2020 Democratic presidential candidates. He derided former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke as “very dumb” for pushing to confiscate guns and tax religious institutions, and remarked that Joe Biden’s family overtly profited from his political career.
Although Nancy Reagan infamously orchestrated the removal of her husband Ronald Reagan’s chief of staff, Don Regan, few political observers could recall a similar instance in which a first lady so openly interposed herself in the West Wing’s affairs
It also states:
The fissures began during Melania Trump’s maiden foreign trip as first lady last month, which entailed stops in Ghana, Malawi, Kenya and Egypt. Her staff swiftly clashed with Ricardel, who threatened to withhold national security council resources for the trip, according to sources familiar with the matter. Ricardel was reportedly frustrated over the lack of seating for her or NSC staff on Melania Trump’s government plane – causing mutual consternation even after the first lady returned to the US.
But Ricardel, a combative force within the Trump administration, had few allies. She also butted heads with the White House chief of staff, John Kelly, and the defense secretary, Jim Mattis. Some within the White House believed Ricardel was responsible for leaking unflattering stories about the Trump administration.
Do you think Our First Lady is warranted in her demand for dismissal of this political cancer?
Introducing the president as he stumped for Republican candidates was Rush Limbaugh, the radio host who was born and raised in Cape Girardeau. Then after Mr. Trump took the microphone, he invited two Fox News personalities, Sean Hannity and Jeanine Pirro, to join him on stage, where each also delivered a short speech backing the president.
The participation of the Fox hosts in a political rally struck even executives at the network as inappropriate. “Fox News does not condone any talent participating in campaign events,” the network said in a statement on Tuesday.
Hannity released a statement on Twitter noting that he had not anticipated taking part in the event. “When the POTUS invited me on stage to give a few remarks last night, I was surprised, yet honored by the president’s request. This was NOT planned. And to be clear, I was not referring to my journalist colleagues at FOX News in those remarks. They do amazing work day in and day out in a fair and balanced way and it is an honor to work with such great professionals.”
Trump’s interview with Hannity on Monday night marked his 38th on the network’s air since taking office, far more than any other network, according to a POLITICO count. In second place is CBS News, with four Trump interviews.Trump also frequently tweets about shows on the network, sometimes appearing to tweet commentary in real time, and on Monday, he told Hannity that he never misses the primetime show’s opening monologue.
If you want to understand why Donald Trump is president today (and why he could very well win a second term), look to the Democrats’ hysterical response to two of Trump’s major foreign policy achievements over the past week.
